Are 4 vaginal ultra sounds safe during first trimester?

One doctor told me vaginal ultra sounds are safe to do biweekly. Other doctor suggested against frequent ultra sounds because they can harm embryo\fetus. Had a miscarriage at 12wks after weekly/biweekly ultrasounds. Scared now. Need advice!

Check out "more business of being born" on Netflix. There is an interview with Ina May Gaskin where she covers the effects of ultrasound on developing cells (embryos). There is evidence that ultrasound changes cells and effects their size. I imagine this is developmentally disastrous. And I do believe that my ultrasound I received during a suspected miscarriage is what actually caused the miscarriage. I think everything would have been okay had they not subjected my embryo to the sound waves. At the time of the emergency room visit, the sac was intact and my cervix was closed, indicating no current miscarriage, but after that visit with the ultrasound, everything ended up passing within the next 48 hours.

Its nothing different than havinf sex during pregnancy. Its the same idea except sex is much more rough than an ultrasound device. Sex is recomended during pregnancy so why would an ultrasound not be ok? Think about it

I had 4 before 14 weeks due to a recent loss, I don't believe they are harmful if the tech knows what they are doing and the doc finds them necessary.

I had about 4 transvag ultrasounds early in my pregnancy. Your dr won't do anything to harm you or your baby

The FDA just recommended to only do ultrasounds that are necessary. If you're high risk and really need them then they're important.

I've had 2 in one day and one a week later. I'm very high risk and everything is fine
