Craigslist jobs legit?

I'm currently looking for a job and I headed over to Craigslist. I found one at a chiropractic office, sent my resume and got an email saying I was selected for an interview. The only issue I have, its at 730 at night! They say it's late so it won't interfere with patients. The email was genetic that I could tell was sent to more than just me. Would you go to the interview? Has me a little uneasy that late.

There are bad people everywhere. Craigslist is no worse than answering an ad in the news paper or facebook or even a billboard.

Maybe don't show up alone until you can verify if it is legit? have a friend walk in with you and if you feel safe you can have them leave and if not you can leave together.

I would go. I've had interviews at the same time. Call the office and confirm that its real. Give the address to someone and then text them when the interview is done

You could always call the office to make sure its legit. and even though you have no one to go with you just let someone know when you are going, exactly where it is, and about what time you will be back, just to be safe :)

I don't really have anyone to go with me, I thought about it. My boyfriend has been working late evenings in town and the job is 30 minutes away. I don't have friends down here and my mom is 3 hours away. I looked at the website and it gives the right address. I don't want to miss out on a great opportunity, they'd pay for my chiropractic assistant school. I'm a 21 year old female and I bet I look easy to kidnap 😬

I got my last job through clist but someone called and talked to me and the interview was at a normal time. I like everyone's idea of taking someone with you.

I would have someone go with you. But I have gotten a few legitimate jobs from Craigslist. One I ended up working at for a couple of years!

Defiantly have a friend or SO go with you and walk u to the door! Maybe even ask to meet on a different day and time more convient. If it were me though I wouldn't go. There are plenty of other good jobs out there. Check out career builder, monster and LinkedIn. Be safe! 👍
