idk what happened

so yesterday my boyfriend was fingering me and when I got up there was blood a lot of it. and I've only had sex one time before and that was 3 months ago. and it lasted for like 5 minutes and idk if I bled or not when I did because I didn't check and I looked up if your "cherry can pop" whenever ur getting fingered and it says you can. but im just curious because there was a lot of blood. and usually it's only a little right ? and im hot on my period. because that was my first thought and im not supposed to be on it for another week. and I kept a pad on last night just in case and there was no blood at all on it this morning. is it normal to bleed a lot during this if he does "pop my cherry"?
