Irregular periods...

I've came off Depo Provera, the contraceptive injection for over a year but my periods are completely out of wack. I have my period twice a month and this hasn't shown any signs of change. I know that when you come off a contraceptive it can take a while for your body to get back in sync but I'm beginning to feel like something's went wrong because I'm not returning to my regular period... Should I wait it out for another year and see if my period gets back on track? Or see a doctor? I don't know if this is normal...

I'm going through the same thing but I was on the pill for three years and never had a period and I've been off the pill since September and my periods are just all over the place and I never know when I'm going to start. I have one in October, skipped November, had one in December and one in jan and now I'm spotting EVERY TIME me and my SO have sex. My sister is a nurse and she told me that sometimes it can take a couple of years to get your cycle back. But since it's been a year you should just make an apt with a gyn and just make sure everything is good and they might put you on the pill to regularate your period so your not having more than one a month.

Thank you, I was getting really worried and wasn't sure if anyone else had a problem like this and didn't want to feel stupid going to a doctor or gyn when there wasn't anything wrong... I really appreciate you taking the time to answer I feel a lot better now :) x
