Foreplay & bleeding

Since I found out I was expecting I didn't want to have sex due to I hear a lot of women bleed afterwards & I didn't want to risk it. Well last night we were fooling around my husband inserted his fingers & when I went to pee there was blood so I went to the hospital the blood had progressively stopped & was now brown. Did blood work & US everything looked good, but the doctor ruled it as a threatened miscarriage. Since I've left the ER when I wipe there is no more brown should I be worried ? My husband feels terrible because he knows I've been saying NO for this exact reason. FYI: I'm 5 weeks 4 days
