Should I get my sons hair cut?

My precious little golden haired boy's hair is getting admittedly a little long. But I don't know if I can bring myself to cut it yet! I feel like he's just a baby and getting his first hair cut will make him a real little boy 😩 He's 16 months. My SO asked me in a very nice way the other day when he was going to get his first hair cut, and my parents and coworkers have been asking too. I think everyone is trying to tell me it's time without telling me... I'm just not ready but I don't want him to look back and say OMG mom! Why did you let my hair grow so long! It's so beautiful and soft. Ladies, what do you think? Time for a cut? Or let it grow a little longer 😍!

Cut it! As a Cosmetologist I would say it's cute, but he's a boy. People will mistake him for a girl, and that's embarrassing... just give him a little trim to clean it up!

It's truthfully not too long yet, but I wouldn't let it get much longer. People used to think my baby brother was a girl because my step mom refused to cute it and so she finally did. & my boyfriend's mother kept his hair much longer than your son's hair and people thought he was a girl AND my boyfriend HATES baby pictures of himself because of it and is mad that his mom didn't just keep his hair shorter!

I let my baby boys hair grow long :) he has blonde hair and little curls in the back. Who cares what they say, make a compromise with your husband to cut it soon but express your feelings to him. Keep it til he's 18 mos or something! He's adorable.

Just a trim maybe:) he has beautiful hair! My son is 18 months and had his first haircut at 15 months because he was growing a mullet (it seemed to grow in back but not front) so i trimmed in back and it was cute seeing the new haircut on him.
