Small lump below right ear.

I have a very small lump, probably about 1/3" at most, directly below (not behind) my right ear. It sits about 1/2" or less below my ear lbe and directly behind my jaw line. At first I thought it might be a pimple but it's not, it's not in my skin. It is hard and doesn't move much. If I palpitate it with my fingers I can get it to move slightly but it feels/sounds like a faint pop and causes a slight dull pain. Thoughts on what this is and if I need to be worried? I now have a $12,000 deductible with my new Obamacare insurance so I have to avoid the doctor if I can because I have to pay full price out of pocket for anything not preventative until that is spent, and I'm a broke student right now so I really can't afford that. Let me know what you think! Oh it is slightly visible but only if I point it out otherwise you wouldn't notice.
