ovulation test positive?" /> Quick background: I miscarried this past weekend but was very early on and hcg beta has already gone back to 0. I took a preg test right after this ovulation test just to make sure it wasn't stoll coming up as pregnant and it was def negative. So no more hcg. Could I be about to ovulate so soon after a miscarriage? I'm no longer bleeding either.

Just like after giving birth there is a higher chance of getting pregnant. That's what my ob told me after I miscarried

I took another today (next day) and it was negative so I'm really confused now...it either was a false positive and I wasn't about to ovulate or I caught the surge at it's peak day and ovulated shortly after receiving that positive.

My doctor told me to wait at least 2 cycles after a miscarriage before trying again. Is there a contrary medical opinion on this?
