How many weeks am I? 3 or 4?

I just found out Monday that I'm pregnant, my test said I was 2-3 weeks along, but the Glow nurture and Ovia app have determined I'm 5 weeks. They show the development of the baby, but is it accurate since the first week begins with Af?

If the test says 2-3 weeks you're actually 4-5 weeks pregnant. Those test detect how long since ovulation.... doctors add the first 2 weeks of your period before ovulation to your pregnancy. So you're actually 4-5 weeks pregnant ..

Is the description of the growth based on baby conception or cell division? Sorry if I'm not being clear.

It's based on the day your last period started. When you start your period, your body is preparing for pregnacy so that is counted as well.

If it says 2-3 it usually is 4-5 as they add on two weeks. Your pregnancy is dated from your last period date x

You also won't find out if you are pregnant until at least week 5. There isn't  enough HCG to detect earlier than that.
