Nexplanon/Period

I'll be on Nexplanon for a month tomorrow. I was supposed to start my period on the 22nd, but I've had spotting since the 19th and I think it stopped yestetday. Is this normal? I know with having it, I could not have a period, have the same period, or irregular periods. Would the spotting be considered my period?
