After years of struggling with addiction and mental health issues I am healthy and in recovery with no thoughts of ever going back.

I'm proud that even at a very young age I saved my mother and baby brothers life multiple times when my father would get drunk and go on a rampage. I've held back his arm with a gun and knife in it many of times. Don't mess with my momma or bub!

I have 3 college  degrees  and I just recently got a  job in one of my fields . I have only been there maybe 3 months and already  got a promotion  and a raise

I'm the only child who left my hometown (so far, and my siblings are in their mid-20s and one is married with 2 kids), and the only family member on my mom's side who even left our home state. Been here seven years & glad I have been self-sufficient even going through some awful stuff... 😊

I suffered from a severe eating disorder for ten years. Next month is my three year point in recovery.  I wasn't able to go to inpatient so the work was nearly all on my own.

I graduated college, I'm the first person in my family to graduate much less continue on to grad school.

My Master's Degree. I worked two jobs, had a little one, and still managed to complete it on time with the help of my amazing husband.

Just got hired as a tutor from my old high school! 😁 feels good motivating and helping kids strive for sucess! 👍
