No, we do delayed cord clamping so that baby gets all of his cord blood. It has been proven that allowing the last bit of the blood to infuse into baby before cutting the cord is very beneficial to their health. Something like 30% of their blood volume is delivered to them after they are born via the placenta/cord, and helps to fight off anemia, electrolyte imbalance, and other maladies. Letting them keep that blood instead of banking acts as a preventative to the types of diseases that stored cord blood treats, and it is free. :) I encourage you to thoroughly research the benefits of delayed cord clamping instead of cord blood banking!

I read an article about it that convinced me not to. It takes away about 1/4 of the baby's blood which increases is chance for anemia. Also, if for some reason baby isn't breathing right away, having the cord still attached/unclamped for the first bit will keep oxygen flowing to the brain. If they are taking cord blood it has to be clamped immediately.
