Would you date a hard working guy who has children and some moderate baby mama problems?

I've been in a relationship with someone who has two kids.  He has his first at 18 yrs and second at 22 yrs with same woman. He's a great dad, he has made mistakes in his past,  but he has grown from them and works for everything he has. His kids mom is aggressive and uses his kids against him a lot, and her new bf doesn't work, drive,  or pay child support. It's not a great situation at times, and puts stress on our relationship sometimes. Anyone have any input or in a similar situation?

My sister is 26 and her boyfriend is 41 and has 4 kids witb baby mama drama... My sister had a baby with him and its really been.nothing but heart ache for her trying to make the relationship work....the step kids not respecting her in the least and having to raise a baby.... This type of relationship is not for the weak and there will be trials but if its something you both want...

I am 25 so is my SO. He had his son right after we turned 18. He works hard and is a wonderful father with full custody of his 7 yo son. His baby momma is so hard to get along with. She dates trash, and she only gets Little Man when it's convenient for her. Which isn't often. Then men she chooses aren't even remotely as hard working as my SO nor are they stand up guys. They're usually alcoholics or druggies. But I will tell you, even with all the drama, I wouldn't trade this man and his son for all the world! The good far out weighs the bad, I'm able to be a stable and strong influence in Little Man's life and, this is by far the best relationship I've ever had. Now we're TTC and it makes me so happy! Keep your head up! You'll get through it?

Yes yes yes. Love is 100% unconditional. It takes a lot of hard work and forgiveness. Oh, and it works both ways... So if you want someone to love you for you, and accept all of your baggage... well, you're going to have to do the same.

My husband of almost 6 Years has a son with his ex wife. At first she was crazy. She only wanted the child support. She is not a good mother. After 7 years of her crazy Ness and all the you can't see him and I need more money and all that, we finally have full custody. I got so lucky with with my step son. He is amazing. Her whole family is happy he is finally with us. Sad part is he knew himself she was a bad mom. He doesn't want to talk to her ever. But having said that, the first couple years were not necessarily hard, but challenging. Then she realized I wasn't going any where so she calmed down. But my step son loves it here and lives spending time with me. Dont judge to much. You may miss out on a life changing blessing. Especially since my husband and I have been TTC for over 2 years now. He may be my only blessing!

I met with hubby 7 years ago, he has 2 children.  I was in a 10 year relationship before which was OK, I thought it was normal.  I have to say I am so glad I didn't JUDGE, him through this, he's a great husband and father.  Can honestly say I'm so lucky to have him.  We have a fun relationship & have his girls 3 times a week.  Yes there can be issues at times but we always manage to sort them out.
