Sex when you feel unattractive?

I've seen some ladies talking about not wanting to have sex with their SO because they feel unattractive or something but that's a time when you should want to have sex with them I love having sex with my SO when I'm feeling unattractive because the way he looks at me and touches me makes me feel sexy again even though I've looked like a bum all day anyways I was just curious about everyone else's opinions!!

I have body dysmorphia due to emotional abuse and a past eating disorder. It doesn't matter how many times my husband tries to tell me I look good- I literally don't believe it. In the mirror, I think I look repulsive. It's not a matter of just not being dressed up or looking "scrubby" for me; my brain tells my eyes to see myself as repulsive. I am working on it in therapy, and my husband is immensely understanding, but this is one of those instances when him telling me and trying to touch me is just going to make me turn inward and put up a wall.

My husband doesn't usually have any desire for sex as it is and by his repeated actions prefers porn and masterbating even though he's quit them for a long time now. So when I'm not feeling insanly horny or haven't mustered up the confidence then it's deff just emotional torment to try and have sex. It's hard to shake those small negative thoughts sometimes.

I always see myself as fat due to a history of anorexia until I became pregnant and some how managed it throughout then after having my child I was afraid of going back into starvation. So I kept eating, now I am dealing with having a to much weight issue so I always see myself as fat. But my SO is great about telling me multiple times a day how beautiful I am. And when I'm at my worse is when he will want to have hot passionate sex to remind me.  But we always have sex no matter what. It's just days when I'm the worst the sex is always different.

I still have sex with my husband even if I feel disgusting and hate myself. No point in making him suffer too.
