Hey ladies I recently went to the obgyn (after 1 year & 2 months TTC) and had blood work done (thyroid, prolactin, progesterone) & my doctor said my levels were fine right where he wanted them to be, it shown I had in fact ovulated & he also stated I was not the reason I wasn't getting pregnant. My DH goes for a SA in a few weeks and I have another doctors appointment to go over a few things on April 7th. If everything comes out fine with my Hisband SA what will they do as far as medications? Treatments?

Treatment options all depends on whether his sperm is slow, abnormal in form and/or he has a low count. With assisted fertility treatments sometimes just doing IUI helps because they essentially weed out all of the unhealthy sperm and inseminate you with a concentrated form of all the good ones. If the concentrated amount is still below normal threshold levels then IVF or ICSE is usually recommended. Either way, you will likely undergo some sort of hormonal treatment to release more eggs and maximise your chances. Of course there are also environmental factors that may be the root of his problem such as drinking and smoking or wearing tight pants or sitting at work for too long. A healthy diet and supplements will also help. Good luck!

They will ask you to start using OPK to know when in your month you actually ovulate. Its a good thing to start charting now since everyone will ask you to start doing in when you start. It also helps to find which brand works for you since there is MANY options. Check Amazon for cheaper options. Then you might be placed on medication (Letrozole or Clomid) for a few months and see if that works. Then it goes on from there is medication alone doesn't work.
