Scheduled c section!

Has anyone had a scheduled c section but then went into labor on their own? I have a c section scheduled for April 6th but I have a feeling I won't make it til then. If I go into labor will they just do a c section right away? I forgot to ask my doctor and I don't see her til Monday and I'm afraid I'll go into labor before then. I'm just curious as to what would happen.
