What do men really think when they hear "it's a girl!" When he wanted a boy?

I would love to see my SOs  face if we find our first baby is a girl (after growing up with 6 boys, I dont.)

My husband wanted a boy so bad, and was really disappointed to find out we were having a girl. He was head in over heels in love with her the minute she was born. Now that we are pregnant with #2, he is hoping for another girl. Nothing makes me love him more than seeing him have tea parties with her or read her books about princesses while both wearing tiaras.

This guy told me a story yesterday that he just knew he was going to ha e a boy because hes the first boy, his father was the first boy & grand father he said when he heard that he shot out the room and cried for 15/20 minutes. But the day she was born he stole his heart so when his wife got pregnant again he prayed and prayed it was another girl the doctor said it's a boy and he cried in the car again lol. But now 6/7 years later he wouldn't Change a thing lol

I wanted a boy for my second, but I knew it was a girl. Husband said he didn't care but insisted that I was having a boy. When I went for the ultrasound they told us it was a girl which I already knew, but since I secretly hoped it was a boy I was disappointed. I think my husband took it better than I did actually. Still to this day I wonder if he's secretly disappointed, but then I see him with his two girls and that doubt fades

Mine really wants a boy, we have two girls.  I know he was disappointed, but they both now have him wrapped snugly around their fingers, and he just beams with pride when we are out in public.  They may not have been his first choice, but I am certain he wouldnt change them.  He is already grooming the 2 year old for taking over the family business.

I think if I had a girl first hubby would have been disappointed I had a boy first he was so happy which made him more open to having a girl next since he already has a son. I'm so happy with the order of ours!
