BBT question help please?

Ok so I don't own a basal body thermometer...so I used a regular one and my temp was 98.8...now my question to u is does this count or does it only work specifically when u have a basal body thermometer? Oh I'm currently 7 dpo  AF due 4/4 .

You want to start on day 1 of your cycle and look for a pattern. Using basal thermometer is best and reg ones won't give you as accurate reading. Take it at same time everyday, and the highs and lows are normal.Don't move or talk till you take your temp and document it.

Your BBT has to be taken first thing in the morning. Like you can't do anything at all before taking your temp. I usually roll over and grab the thermometer and take my temp half asleep in the am. And the reason you want to use a nasal thermometer is because it has an additional number(99.81).
