Antibiotics, yeast infection and AF?! (Tmi no pic)

AF?! (Tmi no pic)" /> I have a fungal dermatitis on my leg (thanks Florida humidity), and my doctor prescribed me antibiotics which ALWAYS gives me a yeast infection. I'm a few days away from AF being due and don't know if I should wait to take the antibiotics so I don't have to deal with the yeast infection AND AF, or take them now and just deal with it? What do you guys think?

Take the meds, get some yogurt (it'll help prevent some of the year infection). Any time a doc gives you antibiotics you should take them according to the instructions you were given by your doctor.

So antibiotics give me a yeast infection every time I have to take them. I've started taking probiotics while on an antibiotic and haven't had any issues. I would try that, it has helped me out a lot!

Are you sure you were given antibiotics for a fungal infection? Your doc probably gave you an antifungal if it is a fungal infection, which would actually treat a yeast infection, not cause one.

When I get antibiotics I get a yeast infection also.. So I tell them to give me a prescription for both.. Maybe you can call your doctor and have them send it in
