Is this normal ?!

When I used to use bc I noticed that my discharge was a little different. I started getting clumpy thick discharge or sometimes I would be so dry and irritated down there. I stopped taking the pill and got pregnant 5 months later. I had an abortion because I was still a hs student.. then I got pregnant again 9 months after that and had a miscarriage. Now 5 yrs later I'm not on any bc and im using the pull out for contraception. But I noticed that every month after my periods I would get a fishy or yeast smelling clump discharge that'll leave wet tissue clumps around my vagina lips and clitoral area .. (sorry for Tmi) and I'm also trying to get pregnant but every month ill get this thing and I don't feel comfy having sex with my bf . We been together for 3 years now and we're really serious about each other.. I went to the gyn about 284839920 times for the same reason and they said it could be thrush, yeast infection, or a bacterial vaginosis and they prescribed me flagyl and metronidazole cream and it works until my period comes back .. Does anyone know if I can take my bf to my gyn clinic and get him tested to ??! Do you think this can stop me from having kids ?!
