Thursday night my mucus plug (show) appeared when I went toilet! I'm 38weeks and I'm wondering how long now isit until my water breaks? Or does something else happen before my waters break? First time getting pregnant so bare with me guys lol 🙈

Unfortunately there is no telling how long it will be ... Which sucks. For me, my mucous plug fell out at 34 weeks and my water broke at 35 weeks and I delivered my baby boy that day! I've heard some people though who loose their mucous plug early and don't deliver till way later.

It can be at anytime, unfortunately you can lose it and labour still be days or weeks away x

I lost mine on the 15th March and it was definatly my plug I'm 39 +2 now and nothing

Was the mucous plug tinged red or pink? I've been losing and re-growing pieces of my mucus plug for literally months, but just yesterday is the first time I lost a big glob of it and it was tinted bright pink. That in conjunction with a lot of dull crampiness and backache as well as just feeling "off" makes me think labor may be near. I can hope! I'm 38 weeks + 4 days. Have you had any other pre-labor symptoms?
