Cervix question

This is the second month That I have been checking my cervix. I'm still unsure of when I ovulated (my bbt shows it was last Tuesday but clearblue opk indicated Friday). Anyways, I checked my cervix after I supposedly ovulated and it felt more medium height but still slightly soft to medium firmness and closed (truthfully I am having trouble telling if it is even open or not). Today I checked and it feels high again and softer but closed. Anyone have a similar experience? Technically I am only 4 dpo, but I am hoping it may be a promising sign! I also had some mild cramping last night. I hope I was not imagining it (baby fever)! Thanks!!
