Birth control?

My hubby decided to stop trying for number three. An just wait a little bit. We don't use condoms, an he says there's no use of me going to get birth control. Has anyone gotten pregnant from the pull out method? What are my chances of getting pregnant? Need to know so I can tell him it's a dumb idea.

I used pull out method for five years successfully. However, we were okay with a surprise pregnancy. Stopped pulling out when we wanted to conceive and was pregnant 3 months later.

Im kind of confused.  You were trying to conceive, have decided to give it a break, so you want to get on birth control?  I get the whole taking a break, i think sometimes that is healthy.  But why would you try to prevent pregnacy, if you had wanted a babe.  Unless something came up and you no longer want a babe.

Pull out method its okay if you do not want a baby, but you also do not mind having an unexpected pregnancy.

I used the pull out method successfully for 5 years. However one time it didn't work....and now I'm having a baby in September!! You need to be very careful and know that the chance of getting pregnant is high. If you are really not ready to get pregnant I suggest using another method with it.

Pull out method can be effective for some but it's really all on him. It can also be very ineffective. There are lots of people on here who got pregnant using that method.
