Ex boyfriend's graduation?

Would it be appropriate if I went to my ex boyfriends graduation from nursing school even though he and I are now dating other people? We were together for a really long time, his family is still fond of me, I supported him throughout everything (by encouraging him when things got tough in school, helping him study and helping/doing projects for him when he had huge tests but no time to prepare for everything and etc). Not only that but I am extremely proud of him and will always have that love and respect for him.
