Amniotic fluid?

How do I know if I am leaking amniotic fluid. I seem to be extra wet down there at 29 weeks and while I notice regular CM I also notice there is a wet spot there too, I don't think I am peeing myself but it seems to be a little extra wet in my panties than it has been normally. Sorry if TMI, just looking for a little advice.

I did the exact same and am 29 weeks also! At my appt I mentioned it to my dr! He sent me to maternity and they can do a swab test to see if it's fluid or just pee! Literally take a few minutes and you'll know! Is definately mention it to your OB!

I asked my doc and she said it's totally normal to be feeling like a slip n slide down there. Everything from increased CM to possibly tinkling without you even noticing it. I have to wear panty liners to catch all the extra fluid going on down there.

If it's amniotic fluid it usually continues leaking or your water breaks. It's probably just vaginal secretions and not amniotic fluid. However, this is the kind of thing you need to discuss with your OB. I just dealt with this today and went to the hospital, they said I was not leaking amniotic fluid but my fluid was lower than normal. Call your dr.
