Happen to anyone else?

Question

In March I had my period just like normal, then a few days after my period I started again... For about 2-3 weeks I've been bleeding every other day. One day it's like a heavy period & the next there's nothing there... I went to my doctor & she just said I need a higher amount of estrogen in my birth control so we changed my pill. I'm curious if this has happened to you or anyone you know & what the out come was.
