What did you learn in sex ed?

I don't remember learning anything useful, I recall they were pushing  abstinence until marriage, but we really didn't learn about std's and nothing about what sex truly was. What did you learn, if anything?

I learnt that cartoon sex (how we were shown it)  is very much different from real sex.

That geeting fed to a tiger would be more enjoyable than giving birth. My class had to watch a lady give birth (on tape not in person)

That's literally it. we didn't learn about birth control options. We didnt learn anything about safe sex. We were told that the only safe sex is no sex.

Basic health, sophomore year, learned about STDs and all that.. but had a beginners class in junior high that taught the basics.. they had us cut a cake that said if we'll have sex before marriage.. which is really personal and I doubt they were actually aloud to do that, but it happened.

Everyone was required to take a sex Ed class in the 7th grade middle school if I remember correctly. They taught us about all the stds and aids. Different forms of birth control. How to put a condom on and they also said to wait till if feels right and not to be pressured. But always be safe if you decide to.

I learned everything. We talked about respecting our bodies. Kinds of birth control for men and women. STDs. That physical stuff that happens during sex. We talked about periods and pain control for it. We also learned self defence and the girls and boys learned seperately except for certain things I think which was respecting each other and our bodies. If the school system doesn't teach my son the proper terms for sex and being safe and everything then I will teach him. He's almost 6 and I've always used the correct terminology when referring to his penis. I won't allow my son to know nothing and to not teach him anything like my mom didn't teach me. I learned about pads from my aunt because it happened when I was with her. My mom got me the tampons I needed when I was going on a kyack day trip.

I remember watching a video of a naked Dutch woman giving birth, and passing notes with my friend. That was the extent of my sex ed in science class.
