Sciatica?

Question

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and literally can't move or barely walk today cause of the shooting pain down my left bum cheek and leg. The pain is horrendous

I'm guessing it's sciatica. It's affecting my work life, should I see the midwife about this? Or just deal with it?

The ER showed me this but instead of using my left leg to help my right one she told me to keep my left leg straight and put my left hand under my right knee and pull my right knee gently towards my left shoulder to stretch the muscle along my thigh and up my right butt cheek and lower back. Since they did it for me in the ER on sat it's been a lot better. I've done it a couple times yesterday and once already today and it's helping quite a bit. I don't normally cry cuz of pain but this actually made me cry on sat so my DH took me to the ER cuz I don't cry for any reason unless is sever pain.

I was seeing a chiropractor. I got positive results! Just 4 days before giving birth I started seeing him. Saw him twice and by time I gave birth the pain was gone.

See a chiropractor! Doctors will tell you it's just part of being preg but a good chiropractor will really help you

I went to the ER on Saturday for the same thing but in my right leg and it was so sudden. They told me I can take 2 extra strength Tylenol 4x a day to control pain and do a stretch to help as well. I'll try to find a picture of it to post.

My dr said sorry when I mentioned it to him. Have to deal. Sitting down helped me or walking without stopping until it passed

I had this problem last time. A good thing to do is go on all fours and let belly hang and it takes the pressure off your back
