3 week long wait for first doctors appointment is that normal?

So I'm 4 and a half weeks pregnant and just made a doctors appointment. The soonest appointment I could get is may 15th. Is that unusual to wait that long to see a doctor? I'll be 7 weeks then.

I didn't see my dr till i 8 weeks and won't get a first u/s till 12 weeks 😒 stinks but I guess it's pretty normal just depending on dr and situation

Most OB offices don't prefer to see you until you're around 8 weeks.

Yep here first is at 8 weeks next is 12 weeks ultrasound at 20
