Is Local Raw Honey Safe??

Over the weekend I bought some local raw honey. But now I am wondering if it is safe while pregnant? I see my dr later in the week and plan to ask her but until then I am curious if anyone was told this was safe or to Avoid

I have been taking about 1-2 teaspoons a day! It helps my allergies! If you get the honey from a reliable source you should be good!

Your doc will probably say to avoid since it's not pasteurized, but I don't know what the risks really are. I mean, ice cream, hummus, frozen dinners keep getting recalled because of listeria so to be super safe you should probably just not eat anything. :)

Yes. For you it's safe. Babys under the age of 1 year shouldn't eat honey. That's all. As long as the baby is in your belly it's ok to eat honey.
