What happens when you go to the docs to tell them your pregnant?

Just wondering what they actually do when you tell them your pregnant? Do they prod and poke you or just fix you up with a scan date? Worried and nervous! 😰

I had a blood test, pee test, pap and scan. They also sat down and asked family history questions and gave me pamphlets of information. It's no big deal.

Pee test to confirm pregnancy. Ask you a bunch of questions. STD screen is mandatory in my state. Set up ultrasound date and bloodwork.

They asked me a TON of questions and gave me the same amount of paperwork. Sent me for blood and urine tests and scheduled a pelvic exam and ultrasound.

I had to give a urine sample, some of which was used for a pregnancy test, answer a ton of questions about family history and STDs, have a pelvic exam, give blood for tests, and set up an ultrasound appointment. I was 9 weeks at the first appointment and 11 weeks at the ultrasound.

I had bloodwork, a pelvic exam, and they took a medical history. Pretty boring. He couldn't find the heartbeat yet.

They just had me come in and do a blood test to confirm. Handed me a booklet with things I can have and can't have and what to be concerned about and what's normal. They said when results come back they will call and set up a ultrasound.

Theyll do a pregnancy test there to make sure. And then probably do a pap. Ask u a bunch of questions. Depending how far along u are they may do an ultrasound or schedule u for one later on.
