Can straight men and women be just friends?

Can't decide if there will always be sexual tension, or if people can get past it to just be friends.

As someone who has plenty of straight male friend I can tell you it's perfectly possible. If you said no then I'd suggest that you are the problem not that there is an inherent problem with men and women being friends

Iv just realised that the only male friends I have now, are my SO's friends. Or my friends partners. And I wouldn't be extremely close to them. I had one friend for years. We always got on great. Constantly spoke to each other and meet up regularly. But his gf and my SO felt uncomfortable with our friendship even tho there was nothing  sexual. After a few years we drifted after his gf freaked out when I texted him. I miss talking to him 😢

Practically all my friends are guys. I fit in better with them. Girls/women tend to getcatty whereas guys are more laid back. I can make jokes with them and there won't be any hurt feelings.
Not only that but I make a great wingwoman and they make awesome wingmen

Hahahaha yea! Of course!! I usually end up sleeping with them but that's me...I'm super horny and quite sexual. Hahahahaha but if I'm not attracted to them, or they aren't attracted to me then it's super easy. The trouble comes if there's sexual tension...but it makes it more exciting.  It's a lot harder if one is attracted but the other isn't but equally as rewarding.
