Babysitter posting pics of your kids?

Would you be okay with your kid's babysitter posting pictures of them on social media sites, or do you see that as crossing a line? I personally wouldn't mind, I just want to know how other people feel about it.

I take pics of my daycare kids but I never show them to anyone, I just send them to their parents.

I will have a problem with *anyone* posting pictures of my baby on the internet. Friends, family, babysitters, I don't care. My FaceBook friends are really "bad" about posting their locations 24/7 and I don't need anyone to have that easy of access to my child's whereabouts. Also, I know a few girls who work at daycares and constantly post pictures..it drives me absolutely crazy. Like, people now know exactly where that child is 5 days a week. There's too damn many bad people in this world.

I would never post pictures of my own kids online without their knowledge, understanding, and consent, so I would be livid if my sitter did that.

I think they should take pictures, and only share them with the parents. And then if the parents chose to post them online, they will. Unless they ask permission and don't put up any locations or anything of where they are

I would be livid, especially if I wasn't asked. All my social media is private and only family and close friends are added so if I do post of my son no one I don't know can see it. I also have a very strict no sharing rule on Facebook.

I wouldn't mind. As long as they aren't posting like... last names or addresses... or school names.. obviously... I'd hope a babysitter wouldn't be that dumb lol...

I worked in a church daycare and another coworker regularly posted pics of the kids to Facebook. I don't know how many times I talked to the pastor about it. He was so uninvolved with that daycare. That place was a nightmare!!!

I fine with it to a certain extent. The child minder would have to be apart of the family for a fairly long time though for it to be acceptable. By time that happens I'm sure they would be a close friend & comfortable tagging myself and other family members.

I wouldn't be so happy if she/he was fairly new on the scene posting pictures.

When I was a nanny I never posted pictures of their faces and I never wrote their names on social media, and all of my stuff is 100% private to people who aren't my friends. It was much more likely I would post a photo of them running ahead of me, or a general shot of the park we were at or something similar. Never their faces. I did take photos like that for me to keep, and sometimes I would share them with my parents or a close friend because it was cute, but never just out there on social media.
