If you support the death penalty ...
Do you support spanking your children? The death penalty is a form of punishment as is spanking. Many argue that spanking teaches your child it's okay to hit. But you could say the same about the death penalty. We are taught that killing is wrong but suddenly it is okay to kill people if they do wrong.
Are you pro-choice? You must be .. Because if you were pro-life you would be against it. You're taking away a life, a life that is not yours to take.
Just a thought for you to ponder.
I myself don't really care for the death penalty. It isn't an option in Canada. We prefer to rehabilitate people. Also, unless there is 100% certainty the death penalty shouldn't even be an option. Many innocent lives have been taken because of this and unfortunately you can't bring back those people from the dead.
