Protected?

Hi, this is my first time on birth control (Levest) and I have been taking it regularly, on time every day. I started at a random point in my cycle, and had taken 7 pills before having unprotected sex with my boyfriend (as the instructions said you should wait 7 days). Since then I have continued to take the pill on time. Would I have been protected? Thanks
