Period is being weird.

I have been TTC. However my period this month is not normal it is extremely light. It started off brown and 3 days late. It is extremely spotty. November,10 2014 I had a miscarriage. I'm so afraid of another miscarriage. This period is not normal for me I usually have long painful periods, with a heavy flow. This flow is almost non existent, yet there is a light flow, maybe spotting. I don't know. Feeling concerned. I am also older.
