EWCM in 3rd trimester? TMI

Question

I'm 30 weeks today and noticed the last two times I went to the restroom a small amount of what appears to be EWCM, it looks like the fertile mucus I had when ovulating pre-pregnancy. No blood or anything else unusual, just the small amount of mucus when I wiped. Should I be concerned about pre-term labor? Is this my mucus plug already shedding?

If it is ewcm more than likely it's not your mucus plug. During pregnancy it is normal to have more cervical mucus as it is how the vagina cleanses itself. the closer to your due date you get the more cervical mucus you get as your body prepares itself for delivery. As long as the discharge is not green or foul smelling or tinged with blood, it's normal.
