started spotting last week and I went in for an ultrasound. I had an ovarian cyst burst, which the doctor says doesn't affect the baby. In the ultrasound, they spotted the gestational and yolk sac, but not the baby. They said it could just be that I'm so early(5-6 weeks) Had my hcg levels tested today. But when I was at the doctor the nurse who took my blood said okay we're going to wait to see if they double but if not then you might be in the process of a miscarriage and you have to have a D&C. I think that was entirely inappropriate for her to say that. Thoughts? Going in again Wednesday. Trying to stay positive and relax. Prayers appreciated and I'm sending mine your way.
