Need some advice about spotting...

Hey ladies, I'm having a hard time deciphering if what I'm experiencing is implantation bleeding or period. Thus is my first child, my fiancé and I have been trying to conceive and as of last weekend I started experiencing pregnancy symptoms; sore breasts, nausea, morning sickness, cravings. Test still show negative but I was assuming it was too early since it's probably only been a week since conception. Now I'm spotting, but it's heavy. Heavier then anything I've read about implantation bleeding, any ideas? I'm trying to get in with my doctor but she's booked next week.
