How long do you give a person stoped at a green light?

Learning stick shift and 1st gear takes me 3-5 seconds to start moving. I dont stall im creepin' moving a little.  I do not think that is long what-so-ever. But....the few honk after 3 seconds. Its sad to see e v e r y o n e so rushed.  Are u the honker? Or the "humm hope they are okay, should I honk" driver?

I only honk if it's obvious that you don't see the green light. If you're just taking a minute to get moving, I'll probably just curse at you quietly and move on, but if I can see the light turn green and you're looking at your phone or not paying attention, I'll honk almost immediately, and possibly consider running you over. I'm inpatient. 😳

People are probably in a rush to honk because they think it's a person texting at a red light. 😡📱

About 5 seconds. Unless the person is not paying attention in which case I honk as soon as it turns green. Like if they are texting I will honk at them as soon as it turns green.

Most lights change after 30 seconds In my town. So yea I beep quick because then you have to sit longer

It depends. If they have a learner plate I give them extra time but if not I'll only give you a couple of seconds because failing to start up when you're a qualified driver probably means you're texting or distracted. If you're qualified but learning stick shift I'd get a P plate so people have a little more patience.

Like 1.5 seconds. I have no patience. My husband will wait until the light turns back to red and still hasn't honked. I usually honk for him lol.
