Natural birth?

Have any of you lovely ladies have had or is going to have a natural birth? A lot of women have been telling me to not get an epidural. Reasons being that later on in the future you will start having back pains. What do you lovely ladies think?

I have done 4 natural births. All were wonderdul. No pain medications and walked and rocked and bounces and I took hot showeres until I was ready to push. Breathing is the most important thing . Dont hold yiur breath thriugh the contractions. Breathe away the pain. :) I am now 10 weeks with #5 and very excited for my final birth story. ! :)

I think everyone should try natural atleast one time to understand whether they actually need the epidural or not. I did natural with my first I plan on doing it with this one as well. The whole reason I did it with my first is because I wanted to really know what the pain was that way then I would know if the epidural was worth it. The pain was not that bad and that is why I will be doing natural with this one as well. If I had gotten the epidural the first time I probably would have ended up getting it with this one too.

I have planned natural each time. First time I needed to be induced, which led to ventose, but I managed without epidural. I was close to needing one though. Second time I did just fine without any help.

Get a good book that gives info on the whole spectrum. Birthing from Within was the most balanced I'd read, but their might be others.

I plan to do natural! I am honestly terrified of getting an epidural lol I hate needles and I have heard way to many bad things that can happen(although rare) they still freak me out and I wouldn't risk it.

I did it with no epidural at 17 years old. You can do it! I didn't think it was too bad. And you completely forget about all of it once you see you precious baby's face.

Natural with my first and planning to do so again. Everyone is different and you have to do what's best for you, but I wouldn't change my experience for anything. It's painful, but not the worst thing. After I felt great, was up walking around and honestly barely even sore. The contractions hurt and so does delivery, but it's not a pain you can describe. I can't say rather the epidural is worth it because I've never had one, but I know plenty of people who regret it and a few who don't. Good luck choosing what's best for you.

Don't get it I had one with and two without I felt better after the two were u didn't get it then I did with the one I did get it

I have had 2 natural births and am preparing for my 3rd. I wouldn't do it any other way! In my opinion, epidurals are not worth the risk. I like being able to move around and be in control of my body.

My epidural wore off with my first and second, with the second they were able to adjust it. So even though it's quite painful, you can totally do it! I did, I just prefer not going through the pain if I don't have to. Good luck!
