Bedroom trick?

I was talking to a good friend of mine about tricks to spice things up in the bedroom. One of her suggestions was to take a jolly rancher or other hard candy and stick it in the vagina. The idea is your natural body temperature will melt the candy and be a sweet surprise during oral. My friend assured me she had tried it and it was safe but it sounds like an infection waiting to happen to me. Has anyone heard of this or tried this ? 0.o
