When do you tell him?

Hi ladies! Just wondering what everyone else would do/has done.

Would you/did you wait to tell your DH about a positive hpt until after you took it or would you/did you tell him right when you had an inkling and take the test together (i.e. him waiting outside while you peed in the stick).

My husband usually guesses before me when I am pregnant, he says I start acting odd.  I have found when he gets this little half grin on his face it is time to take a test.

I told him as soon as I took the test but it was 5am and he didn't realise what i said rolled over and went back to sleep hahaha

I told my husband that I was late and would test in a few days.. I woke up at 5am very nauseous and needing to pee so I tested and got an immediate positive except I was so sleepy I didn't realize what I was seeing so I threw it away and in my way back to bed it hit me that I couldn't even remember what the test said so I went back and got it outa the trash and it was very positive. I woke him up and told him but he didn't remember. So when he woke up for the day he saw it on the bathroom counter and came looking for me in the house with a shocked and excited look on his face.

My last pregnancy (ended in april due to a mc from a car accident) he actually told me. I didnt see anything. Through it out. He came hone and seen it and said babe? Are you pregnant? I said i took a test but it was neg. He grabs it and goes doesnt look neg to me :) with a huge smile. Retested next day came back positive right away.

If I got pregnant again I would tell him after I found out I want to do it in a cute way next time...our first was a huge surprise I was going to get it confirmed and he was at work we were talking about weekend plans and I called him he knew something was up I wouldn't tell him and he guessed it lol

I told him after I took the hpt, and that's because the results surprised me! I had no inkling, it was the day my period was due. I took the test randomly by chance :).
