UGHHHHH!! 2 day induction??

Question

I'm due the 23rd and was really hoping to not have to be induced, but today I went to the doctor hoping to get him to sweep my membranes but he couldn't do it cause I'm not even 1 cm dialated!!! He said my cervix is soft and 80% thinned, but he can't do the sweep until I dilate more. What's irratating is I've been stuck at 70/80% thinned for 3 weeks and he's not making anymore progress! My doctor said if we can't do a membrane sweep next week then on my due date we will talk about doing a 2 day induction where I go home?? Does anyone know anything about this because I am so upset and confused! My baby has been dropped and low for weeks and is just happy where he's at :(((

Im due the 24th and havent dialated at all. My doc checked my cervix and its thinning but we arent even at the stage to discuss inducing, theres planty of time for things to naturally progress... Are you having complications? Does your doc have concerns about you going over? I dont get it.

I'm due the 18th and they have me Schduled for a two day induction but that's only because of a medical reason which is GD. They wanted to do it right on my due date, I told them I wanted to go a few days over so I Schduled it for June 21st-22nd. But there is still a good chance because this is my second baby he can come on his own and I can progress very quickly. That's what I'm hoping for.
