I've never had "blood" look like this before... Anyone seen similar? In the picture it looks like it has a red tint but in reality it's brown. Any help is appreciated!

My Dr said when you get that brown looking blood all it is is leftover blood from your last cycle that never fully came out. So that's why its darker in color is because its old blood.

It just looks like dark blood. If you're ending your period it's old blood. If you missed AF or about to start, then that's AF.

I've had periods that start like that. I'd wait and see if it transitions to normal AF red. 😁

The browner it is the older the blood is.

Unfortunately I've had something similar two months now that has escalated to AF in 2-5 days 😞👎 I wish I had better news! Good luck!

I had this, a lot more tho, it was when I wiped and on pads, sorry tmi, I thought af had arrived far to early as it was 6 days from end of last period, and I got my bfp, on Thursday, so there is hope for you! Good luck xx
