Did you have a baby shower?

What did you do if you skipped the shower? I don't have enough girl friends to have a shower and my mom and sister live out of state so I just don't want it. Can't I just have an Amazon list and people can send gifts or whatever if they want to..?

For my out of state family, my mother in law and sister in law sent out invites for a "gift card shower". So there was no actual shower, but people are sending me gift cards for the babies

My last son no I had no family in state my family out of state sent me gift cards after the baby was born

I didn't have a shower with my son. My MIL and SIL were upset, but I wasn't about to have a shower and it be all their friends, because I literally knew 1 person, aside from them 2.

My cousins who live out of state did a Skype shower. His sister sent invitations out, everyone mailed their presents to them and the day of the shower they opened all the presents in front of everyone of Skype
