What about the name noel

My husband loves the name Noel. I don't dislike the name, I prefer it be spelled Noelle since it would be a girls name. 
What are your thoughts on the name? 
I suggested Ava Noelle/Noel for a girl and he's on the fence but I really like the sound of that. So ladies help please

Omg. That's literally my dream baby name!!!!!!!! I wanted an Ava Noelle so bad it hurt, but my husband absolutely hated Noelle. Ended up naming our daughter Ava Kathleen. My vote is totally, absolutely use it. Beautiful and perfect in every way!!!!
