How to avoid throwing up from changing a diaper?

For some reason I cannot get used to changing diapers! I get nauseous as soon as it comes off and throw up after the changing is done and baby is free to crawl away. Any way to avoid throwing up?  This is a serious question by the way!

If it's the smell that bothers u buy some alcohol pads and run one under your nose before u change baby. That's a nursing home tip:)

My husband normally pulls his shirt up over his nose and mouth-looks absolutely ridiculous but he says it makes it not smell. Me, poop is one of those smells that pregnancy has just made horribly worse. My two youngest kids had an extreme stomach virus that involved nonstop explosive diarrhea for an entire week per kid- I literally just had to take a giant breath of air, fill my lungs, and hold my breath until I got rid of most of the poop, whether by flushing the toilet for my 3 yr old or changing the 2yr olds diaper. Wearing disposable gloves also made it seem less repulsing to me. You do what you have to do!!

Be around a lot of diaper and gross stuff, you have a kid now so that part should be easy. I used to puke when I saw/smelled vomit, but after being around a lot of sick kids I'm over it.

I'm the same with snot and phlegm. I've been advised to try hypnotherapy
