Does this really work?

Has anyone ever successfully used  only the withdrawal method to prevent pregnancy? I can't get on birth control yet and my boyfriend suggested this but I told him you can still get pregnant from precum. He disagrees. Just wondering if it works?

My husband and I have done the withdrawal method for 2 years no pregnancy. As well as well as were both in our fertile prime. However, it's not recommended as a "sure" form a birth control as long as he does pull out and doesn't even slightly miss you should be ok. In the end it needs to completely be your decision and you need to recognize the risks.

I mean...I managed to stave off pregnancy until age 33 with pull out....but looking back, that was really risky

When I met my man after 2 months in we used the pull out method and ended up pregnant.. I couldn't believe it

We used that method from 2002 until 2013 and I never got pregnant. My husband really knew what he was doing though.

I've been using the pull out method for 3 years, me and my partner both hate condoms. Haha. Not once have I got pregnant.

I never have gotten prego with the pullout method but I think it depends on the guy

I used it for about five years and never got pregnant. But, as with even actual birth control, nothing is 100% effective. You have a chance of getting pregnant on the pill, with condoms, or by using withdrawal. If you're going to use that method, you need to make sure that you are prepared for whatever may happen.
