Spina Bifida

I've read a few comments with people saying a child born with spina bifida will die shortly after birth and I would like to set that rumor to rest. My brother in law was born with it and lived to be 26. He was a very happy loving man and husband and brought joy to many lives. God isn't into statistics so if you've been told your child will be born with this defect or are currently caring for someone who is, keep faith!
